Sara Morris collaborated with set designer / stylist Sandy Suffield to create this quirky new series ‘Evergreen’. The images present us with what seemingly at first glance look like normal sized objects. However if we take a closer look, we see that the ‘plants’ are actually not plants at all but common green household objects. A clever creative twist that plays with the perception of size. The true scale of each set is revealed once the viewer makes the connection between the ‘greenery’ and what it actually is – be it a rubber band, a food bag tie or electrical wire.
