Lottie Davies’ was recently asked to take part in the ‘A Thousand Word Photos’ initiative – chosen photographers are invited to share an image with a writer who in turn is asked to produce a short 1000 word story drawing inspiration from that photo.

These stories and images are not only published online but also read to stroke patients in hospital by actors working with the charity Interact.

Lottie’s image above was the  inspiration for writer Alison Layland short story ‘Thirst’
